Quick and easy lunch for struggling chefs

Let's face it, cooking is not a top priority in the life of every man, woman or child on the planet. In fact, too many people have made learning to cook a top priority in their lives. This means we often rely on ready-to-eat meals and canned mixes rather than attempting to prepare healthy meals for the family and for personal enjoyment.

The same goes for lunches, where we often resort to a can of soup or a box of macaroni and cheese or some other similar product rather than a creative attempt to create a quick snack. Quick and easy but delicious. You will find many ideas in this article and hopefully these ideas will not only give you a good start to finishing lunch but we all seem to find ourselves at one point or another. , but also to try new things on your own.

First of all, not all great lunches require a real kitchen to prepare. Some of them will require the use of a microwave and some of them will need to be cooked or at least pre-made and reheated. The options are virtually limitless when you understand the concept of creativity required. You'll also find that many of these ideas are so simple that you'll wonder why you've never thought of them. I certainly hope that some of these ideas will become key features of your own home.

Salad wrap. You can make these delicious breakfasts and fillings ahead of time, leaving only the filling and packet to warm up when you're ready to eat. It's a fun lunch to share with your little ones, and it teaches them that lettuce is much more versatile than most people realize. Some people choose teriyaki-inspired fillings; My family loves the taco-inspired toppings for our lettuce rolls. You are completely free to create your own favorite toppings.

Try sandwiches with different breads. Believe it or not, my kids love trying new things. It is a rare trait for which I am extremely grateful. Believe me, I know all too well how lucky I am. However, my youngest has a little trouble with thick or crispy bread. Her favorite sandwich choice became the Hawaiian cake. We put meat, cheese, mustard and pickles in her bun as if it were a loaf of bread and she was happy. Other great ideas include scooping up crisps and filling them with roast beef and cheddar cheese. You can bake in the oven for a few minutes for a rare sandwich. The cooking part is very minimalistic and you don't need to have deep knowledge of anything to prepare or enjoy these simple dishes. Other great bread ideas include croissants with ham and cheese or chicken salad, tacos (another favorite in our house) and Paninis (great if you have one). George Foreman grill or bread press).

While this is by no means the end, it's all just a guide to quick and easy lunch cooking that's a good dish for thought. Hopefully it gets your own creative juices flowing so you can make great lunches for your family without overcooking in the process.
